COVID-19 may have shaken up Australia’s economy, but there’s one enduring challenge advisers will have to face with their clients – and no particular product can solve it.
A new kind of advice product could solve the dillemma many advisers now find themselves in, where demand is higher than it has been in some time but it’s difficult (or impossible) to profitably service that demand.
The Government just announced relief for ongoing fee disclosure requirements, while ASIC claimed it has no leeway. Given the huge impact these laws will have, who’s in charge of ensuring they work as intended?
