After a week where we saw the Royal Commission report handed over to Government, I am very happy to say that here at No More Practice Education, we have some good news for financial planners.
The launch of our new FASEA toolkit is a step forward to help advisers navigate the complex waters of FASEA education standards, and what is needed to comply with new legislated education changes. It is designed to give individual pathways as you enter your own personal information.
As you can imagine, its creation was no easy thing, and the team has worked tirelessly to provide a free technology solution that helps simplify the pathway to being compliant and understand the right qualification in the new world order.
I have to say, when I sold No More Practice last year to OneVue, and signed on to continue as the Editorial Director, even I, the eternal optimist, could not have believed just how much being owned by a technology business could be of benefit to our community. Even more so, the commitment from CEO Connie Mckeage, whom I greatly admire, and the team at OneVue to put education for advisers front and centre in an environment that is extremely difficult is evidence that OneVue is a business that continues to put their money and their resources where their mouth is, and stand for what is right.
We have much, much, more coming up this year to support you and provide the most engaging, practical and helpful education as possible. After all, a thriving advice community means a thriving Australia. And that is what we are all here for.
