With trade tensions between China and the US continuing unabated, it’s perhaps worth considering the impacts of these trends on global investment strategies.

This new environment raises a lot of obvious questions, such as: are our definitions of “globalisation” outdated? Are the conditions that led to globalised trade decelerating? And are there pockets of the world where the opposite is true?

  • the new drivers of global GDP
  • how and why definitions of globalisation may need a rethink.
